Everyone loves a good story. History is full of them. In fact, most of what we know of the past, we know through the tales of people’s lives and deeds. Winnipeg Centre Vineyard is no different. Our history is full of accounts of God, in his goodness, breaking into our realities to love us, to challenge us, and to transform us. We are not alone. We are part of an epic narrative that spans  denominations, continents and generations. The tale we are living out today in this city, reaches back through time to Adam and Eve. This grand plot involves all the people and events laid out in the bible, and it weaves the entire history of the Christian church together with our own individual threads. Our local story and each of our individual lives intersect and interact with this great narrative of love and redemption… of sin and salvation… of promise and fulfillment… of Christ and his church.It is in the context of the broad family of God (friends of Jesus Christ now and in the past), in the international Vineyard family, and in our own national and local context that we find ourselves anchored and secured. Each person who calls WCV their home has their own story that intersects and interacts with the larger story. This website is designed to introduce you to how our part in this story is played out on a day-to-day basis here at WCV. Inside you will find out who we are, why we are here, and what we believe God has called us to as a community of faith. You will also discover how you can begin to belong and get involved.
