| Joining the Story - getting involved |
 The wonderful part of the story of Christ and his church is that he invites us in. We get to be participants in the narrative, not mere spectators. He invites us into the drama. We know how it ends but we get to be a part of how it unfolds.We feel the excitement of this invitation and also the responsibility for carrying it out in our local context. We have attempted to create intentional ways for each member of our community to find their place in the story. Listed in this section are many ways to get involved in the life of WCV. Of course there are many other ways to find your place in the story and to work and serve in God's new world that he's creating. These areas are simply what we do consistently and reguarily. In all these things, however, we don't want to simply accomplish tasks, or be driven by the structure of what we're doing. Loving each other and God are the primary motivators for us. |
